There are few people in the United States who are unaware at this point that Governor Palin’s unmarried 17-year old daughter is pregnant. Added to that, Sarah Palin has three more children living at home, including a special needs 4-month old son with Down’s Syndrome.
Evangelical voters generally support Palin’s nomination and appreciate her strong pro-life stance. But even those who support her have to be concerned about how well she can juggle the difficult responsibilities of public office and, in her case, the responsibilities of an especially demanding motherhood. Will something, or someone, suffer?
