Authorities now say that the tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri a couple of days ago was the deadliest single tornado in the U.S. since modern record-keeping began more than 60 years ago. Thankfully relief efforts are in full swing, but tremendous amounts of help will be needed for years. Some people will never fully recover.
A few months ago I mentioned the group Page CXVI on this blog. The band has close ties to a church in Joplin, and announced today that they’re giving away some of their music (this week only) to anyone who donates to the church’s relief fund. I checked with the band and 100% of your donation will go to the relief effort. Here are the details.
