Love You Forever is a sweet, deeply moving little children’s book. I’ve never been able to read it to one of my kids without being reduced to a blubbering idiot by the time I reach the end.
I thought about either including the full text of the book here, or embedding a video of author Robert Munsch reading the book, but decided to do neither. If you’ve never read the book, just borrow or buy a copy and read it to your kids before you listen to someone else read it, even the author. I think the experience and the connection with your child will be more poignant and unforgettable to you that way.

So glad to know I’m not the only one that cries when reading this book…I’ve never been able to finish the entire story without bawling my eyes out – my kids think it’s hysterical
